Feng Shui Case Study – Mr & Mrs. S
I thought it might be helpful to illustrate the use of Feng Shui and decluttering by using a Case Study and an analogy. We have all felt great Feng Shui. Walking into a day spa or yoga studio, for example. The most practical analogy I can think of though is doing an awesome poop. You know the feeling I mean – light as a feather, ready to get up and going. It feels like you are free.
Moreover, the reality is that Feng Shui and Decluttering gets rid of the bad stuff just the same as pooping. So, you tell me, does it work?

Feng Shui Recommendations
Which elements do you resonate with most? Earth, Wood, Water, Metal, Fire?
Home is very heavy in Wood, Earth, and Metal (arches).
Balance by adding Water and Fire elements
Fire – mirrors and round accessories, animals, wildlife, candles, lighting
Water – reflective surfaces, water features flowing forms and shapes.
Overall, Feng Shui is positive and will improve with unpacking, decluttering, removing unwanted objects, lighting up the hallway, and the addition of plants and soft furnishings.
Oversized furniture in a small room does not lend itself to good Feng Shui, so reconsider the configuration of the family and living rooms.
Open up the narrow, dark kitchen by removing brick walls
Reconfiguration of the laundry to improve energy flow.
