Meet Suz

Hi, I’m Suz – holistic interior designer/stylist and lifestyle photographer based in the beautiful Scenic Rim. Whether I’m styling a room or capturing soulful images in natural light, my approach is always the same: Grounded in simplicity. Guided by soul. Rooted in real life.

Yes, I’m married to a hoarder, so I deeply understand that real homes aren’t always perfect. And that’s okay. Beauty doesn’t come from buying more, it comes from seeing what you already have differently.

Working with Suz was fun and exciting. ‘Grace Your Space’ is all that the name implies. It is clearly Suz’s passion and expertise! With ease, Suz successfully transformed dark to light and opened the flow of energy working mostly with the existing features and furnishings. With Suzs’ practice of Feng Shui and her expertise and eye for light, space and proportion, Suz positioned our furnishings along with the minimal additions of tasteful inexpensive items and the added colour of cushions, balanced with the beautiful greenery of pot plants all within our budget. I still can’t believe this.  Suz asked ‘are you ok’ at coffee after yoga.  I said that we had been unable to sell the house after 18 months on the market. She asked me some questions and identified that I was struggling to let go and asked what I wanted my ideal buyer to smell and feel as they walked in. She loaned me a diffuser and some oil, and gave me some exercises around letting go. Walking out of yoga together a week later, the phone rang with a contract!

What can I say about Suz – this lady performs miracles.
I’ve been looking to Airbnb our family home and got stuck in a rut with the finishing touches that make a home warm and inviting for guests. I contacted Suz and from our first meeting she transformed the space with her knowledge of where to place things, lighting and styling. I said I wanted to move quickly and boy did she do that. Within a week she had purchased goods within my budget, styled the whole house, took photos (did I forget to mention that she is a professional photographer as well) and sent me the photos the following day. From there I set up a basic listing, then Suz fine tuned it for me. Within a few hours of publishing the Airbnb listing I had my first booking. This chick knows her stuff and I keep saying to myself why didn’t I contact Suz earlier.
